Holy Moses!
In today’s lesson
from the Hebrew Scriptures, at least the one I heard, Moses wants to see God,
but God doesn’t necessarily want to be seen; he may not even want to see Moses.
It’s a short story, but I’m afraid I take a long time getting there. Well, you can skip the first eight or so
minutes, but you’ll miss all the things that were on the stone tablets. And you
thought it was the Ten Commandments.
That was the Charlton Heston version.
