Coming and going
The
Ambiguities has from the beginning been about the decussation
of the sublime and the ridiculous – also the ridiculous and the sublime – and how
they are stitched together and come apart in ways that we think we can explain –
in retrospect! – but can’t: Our explanations may be sublime or ridiculous, beautiful
constructions or absurd ruins; they are in any case lies, however convincing we
make them, however convinced we are they are true.
